Give
Your gratitude, organized into outcomes
A gift to RV3 is not a gesture — it is a deployment order. It funds a specific kind of help, in a specific place, with an outcome you can check on later.
One-Time & Recurring Giving
Give once. Or stand watch monthly.
One-time gifts respond to a moment — a deployment day, a scholarship deadline, a family's tribute. Recurring gifts do something rarer: they let the ecosystem plan. A monthly gift becomes a navigator's predictable caseload hours, a transitional unit's steady upkeep, a scholarship fund that can promise a seat before the cohort fills.
Gifts may be unrestricted (deployed to the ecosystem's most urgent verified need) or designated to a program area: mobile outreach, housing & homeownership, scholarships, benefits navigation, or the honor mission. Designated gifts are tracked as restricted funds and spent as designated.
Online giving is processed through our secure donation platform. If the button below is not yet active in this deployment, call (504) 505-1512 or email give@rv3vanguardofvalor.org and we will complete your gift directly.

Impact Anchors
What each level enables
Representative costs drawn from our program plans — actual allocations follow verified need, and every level is welcome at any frequency.

A navigation session
Funds one benefits-navigation session for a rural veteran or survivor — screening against the federal benefits catalog, building an evidence checklist, and routing to an accredited representative.
A night of stable housing
Mirrors the VA Grant & Per Diem benchmark (up to $85.37 per veteran per day): one funded night of transitional-housing support, case management included.
A tribute preserved
Supports a Guardian Light memorial tribute — a Digital Wall of Honor profile, story archiving, and a recognition certificate prepared with the family.
A bootcamp scholarship seat
A full income-based scholarship to the six-week Eagle Vanguard Venture Boot Camp for a veteran facing rural, disability, or access barriers — templates, labs, and coaching included.
An M-TOC deployment day
Puts the Mobile Triage Outreach Cavalry on the ground in one rural parish for a full day — crew, fuel, screening supplies, and the follow-up case hours that make the visit stick.
A homeownership package
Funds one Operation Eagle's Nest veteran-assistance package — the counseling, homebuyer-education, incentive, and closing support that carries a veteran from transitional housing to a deed.
The Vanguard Watch
Monthly donors keep the front door open
$25 / month
A year of your giving funds four navigation sessions plus directory upkeep for the rural-Louisiana services directory that navigators depend on.
$85 / month
You are, in effect, keeping one transitional-housing night funded every month of the year — twelve nights of stability a family can count on.
$210 / month
Over a year, your giving equals an M-TOC deployment day — an entire parish visit that exists because you stood watch each month.
Double Your Impact
Employer matching gifts
Thousands of employers match charitable gifts made by their employees — often dollar-for-dollar, sometimes more — and many also grant funds for hours their employees volunteer. A matched $1,200 gift funds two bootcamp scholarship seats instead of one.
Ask your HR or community-relations office whether your company matches gifts, then submit RV3 — Rural Veterans Vanguard of Valor Foundation — through their matching portal. We will confirm your gift promptly so the match clears.
If your company would rather engage as a team — matching campaigns, volunteer days with Guardian Angels, or a named sponsorship — that conversation starts on our sponsorship page.
Three steps to a match
- 1. Give — make your gift to RV3 and keep the acknowledgment we send.
- 2. Submit — file the match request through your employer's giving portal or a paper form to HR.
- 3. We verify — we confirm your gift with the matching administrator; the matched funds follow your original designation.

Beyond the Checkbook
Stock, donor-advised funds & planned giving
The largest gifts to rural veterans rarely arrive by credit card.
Gifts of stock
Donating appreciated stock held more than a year can let you deduct the full fair-market value while avoiding capital-gains tax on the appreciation — often making it the most tax-efficient way to give. Contact us for transfer instructions before initiating a transfer so we can identify and acknowledge your gift.
Donor-advised funds
Recommend a grant to RV3 from your donor-advised fund — Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, your community foundation, or any sponsor. Designations work the same way as direct gifts: name the program area, and we steward it as restricted.
Planned & estate gifts
A bequest in your will, a retirement-account beneficiary designation, or a life-insurance designation can endow the Legacy Activation Fund — scholarships and service projects carried out in a veteran's name, in perpetuity. We will work with your advisor, quietly and without pressure.
RV3 does not provide tax or legal advice; please consult your own advisors. For transfer details and sample bequest language, email give@rv3vanguardofvalor.org or call (504) 505-1512.
Our Promise
All gifts stewarded. All outcomes published.
Acknowledged
Every gift receives a written acknowledgment for your records, and designated gifts are booked as restricted funds the day they arrive.
Tracked
Funded programs report into the VI-PAR framework — Impact, Planning, Access, Resilience — with a public dashboard and an annual impact report.
Honored
Donor recognition follows the same dignity standard as our memorial work: your generosity is honored the way our veterans' service is — respectfully, and only as visibly as you wish.
